I bought a set of Gouache paints and they arrived yesterday. This is my first attempt at using them. I'm already pleased with the layering and color intensity. It will be a while before I'm facile with them, however.
Here's the latest illustration for the Boise Weekly. The story deals with a law in Idaho known as The Voluntary Contributions Act. The issue involves unions, which is why I referenced "Norma Rae". Perhaps a little obscure, but any opportunity to give a nod to Sally Field is one I'll take.
