Scarecrow Illustration

Here's one I finished today, though I've been working on it between other projects for the past week or so. As usual, it's ink (ballpoint, in this case), watercolor, and colored pencil. I like the way it turned out. The idea came from another illustration I did recently (see below post). Scarecrows, in my opinion, are creepy as hell. I suppose it's because they're meant to look human, but there's always something a little off about them.

New Boise Weekly Piece

Here's the latest piece for the Boise Weekly. This one has to do with the wind energy agenda in Idaho being stymied by bureaucracy.

The rest...

Boise Weekly Feature

Here are the illustrations for an upcoming feature story in the Boise Weekly. The article is about the various personalities of Boise and the surrounding areas. Overall, this was a fun piece, though given time constraints, I wasn't fully satisfied with all the illustrations. My favorite is probably Southeast Boise, which is a bedroom community/suburb.

Here are the most recent pieces for the sports annual "Lindy's" (the college basketball edition). They're ink, watercolor, and colored pencil on bristol.
